An online resource with education and training designed specifically for residential cleaning companies
ARCSI is working with Modern Cleaning to bring residential cleaning companies a certification that is created for residential cleaning company cleaning technicians. The Professional House Cleaning (PHC) Certification provides the technical knowledge needed to function as Professional House Cleaners, regardless of business model, procedures, products, and equipment used.
“This is a true game-changer for the members of our association as well as our industry,” Alonzo Adams, chair of the ISSA Residential Cleaning Council, said on a recent Facebook Live with Cleaning Business Today.
Alonzo Adams, Tom Stewart, along with many others worked for years to build ARCSI into the association it is – including merging into ISSA to be able to have the backing of the worldwide leading cleaning association. “The whole idea was to professionalize the residential cleaning industry,” Tom Stewart said. “If we could be recognized as a profession, we could create more value for our industry and grow our businesses.”
The cornerstone of a profession is training and standards. You can’t have a profession without having standards. “Providing the PHC Certification is about making the industry better – advancing it,” Adams said.
