I feel like the ISSA Show this year – along with many other events! – almost didn’t happen. The pandemic has made significant changes to our world – where we choose to travel, the way we shop, the way we interact with each, and the list keeps going. But then maybe that’s why God created Zoom! (ha-ha!) Thanks to the Internet, video conferencing and a very committed team, we were able to hold our annual ISSA Show last week – and we had a great week!

Let me start with our fabulous Residential Show Committee, led by the very enthusiastic and determined Karina Neff. Obstacles faced and dealt with, our committee just kept pivoting and kept their goal in mind – to provide the best event that we could for our residential cleaning attendees.

Our committee for this year included:

  • Jesica Noftz, PetalSweet Cleaning
  • Elena Ledoux, Superb Maids
  • Liz Trotter, American Maid

This committee has essentially taken the lemons we received this year and made lemonade at the show! Our live and on-demand sessions were nothing short of extraordinary. Our speakers from A-Z provided insightful and well-thought out education, addressing topics that were absolutely timely, topical, and directly relevant to the residential cleaning industry.
